Puppies
Last August 16, our black labrador named Raven gave birth to 4 puppies: 3 boys and a girl.
At last, boys. Last December 29, 2006, Raven gave birth to 3 puppies, all of which were girls. Two of them were given to our uncles: Tito Boboy and Tito Didi. One was left with us and her name was Shadow. She died a couple months back due to some unknown sickness.
This time, we're giving out two puppies. The girl, to Lance for his birthday on Nov. 4, and one guy to our neighbor, Henry Mariano, who happens to be Charlie Mariano's brother (yep, the councilor).
I'm naming one of the guy puppies Robert since Lance named the girl puppy Celine. Revenge is sweet. :D

Hello to a new quarter and hello to a new seatplan.
Well...Not exactly.
Maam Vesagas changed our seatplan about a week ago and I said goodbye to my seatmates AKA greydskul. (I miss you guys. :D HAHAHA)
We were asked to leave our places and stand while Maam would direct us to our new designated seats.
I like the new seatplan. Maam Vesagas is a genius. She placed Margie and Elno together at the back. This is something NEW. :D Nice Marj and Elns! ^______^
I like my new seatmates. Well, they're not exactly new. Angelo Garcia's my frontmate, a strange recurrence which happens every year (he could either be my seatmate, frontmate or backmate). Angelo's seatmate is Gelo Feliciano, who used to be my seatmate and fellow greydskuler. My seatmate is Irni Gemzon. My backmate's Karen Carreon, who used to be my rowmate. Karen's seatmate is Ralph Chua, another greydskuler (actually, our inspiration for the blogname) who used to be Nina's seatmate who used to be my frontmate. :D
I DEFINITELY LOVE MY SEAT. Apparently because Maam didn't change it. HAHA.
Oh yeah. I have noisy people around me. And they're corrupting me to be maniacs like them, which I hopefully won't be.

Yesterday and today we had our auditions for those who wanted to join Punlaan. I was one of the judges. Haha. Most applicants were 1st and 2nd year students. It's nice to see a lot of people bring out their hidden talents and wit. But then again, there were also those who disappointed the judges, like walking out in the middle of a given task and such. If only they know the privileges one can get in this club, maybe they would think twice before giving up.

These past few weeks I feel so pressured, both academically and with my extracurriculars. There were even times when I have to attend to three club meetings at once. And then I still have to find time to fill out my college application forms and review for entrance exams. In addition to these, I was excused for two whole days so I missed out on A LOT of school work and quizzes. So help me God.

Busy Vacant Days

For the past two weeks the school had a lot of holidays, but that didn't stop us from getting laid down with projects and requirements. The vacant days last week were spent for practices on the Filipino Department's Sabayang Bigkasan (which we scored a 93, by the way), and this week would be spent on our project for literature, which is making a movie trailer. I really hope everything would pay off in the end.. I'm hoping for semestral break to come fast-- without requirements.

With nothing to read, I temporarily lost my interest in reading. Gah.
But hey. I passed by the library last Wednesday and one book apparently caught my attention.
Hooray to Shakespeare. You lured me to read Twelfth Night.
I guess this is the most decent classical literary work that I could ever find. What else? I find Romeo and Juliet so overrated and Hamlet and Othello kinda depressing. So..Yeah. I guess that's it. :P
I'm starting to like Malvolio. He's such a hilarious fool in yellow stockings and cross garments. Poor old Malvolio. Fooled by the clutches of Maria and Sir Toby. :D Wait, I might be wrong. Anyway, whatever.
The book/play so far is intriguing. The thing is, the English is so old that I could barely understood it. :p
Roux is raving me to read One Hundred Years of Solitude by that Gabriela person thingy. So yeah. I saw one copy at Checkbooks and it costs around 600. Man. Just for a book.

Many people kept advising me not to cram and it is best to feel relaxed a day before and on the day of the exam. So yeah. My mom treated me for a lunch and movie the day before the exam [Friday]. We ate at Jollibee then proceeded to watching Ouija, which was ok but not as good as Sukob. The story was good though and the ending was bitin.
That night, a few of my classmates were online. I bet the rest are studying or sleeping or [insert verb here] but I just played Free Cell, Minesweeper, Neopets, Spirits of Aldea and Tantra for a bit. Then chatted with Sir Madz, Kuya G, Qharts and a few others whom I forgot [sorry]. Then searched around the net for online reviewers since I saw that Qharts was busy answering them, accordign to her status message on YM. Dang. I found one decent online reviewer and the Math part was HARD.
[PS. Thanks to Sir Madz and Kuya G for your advices]
Before going to WMSU, we stopped by at Jollibee for my baon. We ordered two peach mango pies and one jolly hotdog. Yummeh.
Bag. Check. Leave cellphone to mommy. Check. Baon. Check. Hanky. Check. Rosary. Check. Hug mommy. Check. Then she wished me luck.
So I left the car. When I went inside, the guard said the first batch wasn't done yet. And hey, I saw a few of my LEARN Review classmates.
One by one, my schoolmates and classmates arrived. Then we stayed at the guard house till the first batch was done. We were all fussing about formulas, etc and most of them seemed tense.
When the first batch was done, many asked how it went and most of them said that MATH and SCIENCE was hard. Well, for Angelo Garcia and Ralph Chua's case, the Filipino part was hard too. Poor kids.
Oh yeah. Nina stole Cho's baon cause he only ate his Hershey's Kisses. Kevin stole Cho's Coke in can and I almost stole Cho's salted peanuts pero naawa ako. Haha
I prayed before the exam started. I wasn't feeling tense or confident at all. Neutral lang. And the words, "Come what may" kept running through my head. God help me.
Language Proficiency - ok.
Science - moderately hard
Math - HARD
Reading Comprehension - boring.
I finished all tests ahead of time but the Math part was mostly relied on guesses. So yeah. Come what may, I guess.
Mom treated me for supper at KFC. I wasn't in the mood to buy Iced Caramelli at Coffee Mixx though.
Haay. COME WHAT MAY.

I was scheduled to take the exam for the afternoon session [12:30] yesterday [Saturday] at High School Laboratory, Social Hall, WMSU.

My ass and back hurt the whole time. So much for sitting still in one place for almost 6 hours. Meh.
