First Two Weeks of School
10:59 PM
Evaluation is important. Thus, an unbiased review is the essential for any evaluation topic. To maintain the sense of credibility, The formal and quantitative format is followed.
IMPRESSION OF SCHOOL RE-ENTRY (9/10)
The First impression on the school overall is mostly established in the First day. Thus, I shall base my review on that very occasion. The school structure has been improved, the first day program and Holy Spirit Mass were impressive. The Handling of the school in the formal occasion was quite impressive and it was undoubtedly well prepared (except for the unexpected and truly annoying weather condition). Putting aside complications due to weather, I give it a 9. It was top class, but had room for improvement. Especially the Seating arrangement, which made sense, but turned out to be disorganized especially for seniors and the parents at the back.
FACULTY (7/10)
Being faculty of a most prestigious school, they deserve no less than this number. Many were prominent members of school faculty. In terms of knowledge, know-how, and mastery of the curriculum, they get a straight 10, or even perhaps an 11. Now, you ask, "Then why did you give a 7, you ***-**-*-*****??!". Well, the way they share they knowledge is not exactly an appealing, interesting, nor student friendly one (there are exceptions, of course). From an unbiased, uneven point of view of all students, I unfortunately must conclude that the roster of teachers this year lean towards the "boring" type. I mean, sure they got the 1000mHz brains. However, inefficient delivery doesn't promote enthusiasm in students, and only part of those top class information could enter into their heads!
ACADEMICS, REQUIREMENTS, ETC. (6/10)
The curriculum itself is well established. This is never ever doubted. However, the implementation of the academic requirements are not very well thought out of, awkward, premature, overly difficult, unnecessary, and excessive (in terms of expensive materials). Of course there are exceptions, but that seems to be a frequent trend. Hopefully, it'll only be in the first few weeks and not extend till the end of the year.
STUDENT OPPORTUNITY (8/10)
Understandably, most clubs and organizations are still dormant, thus extra curricular opportunities are still unavailable. However, some are getting active quite quickly, quite impressive for the first few weeks. Thus the 8.
Those are the assessments that I think are the most important at this point, so I will stip here. Overall, I give the first two weeks a 7.5 over 10. not bad, but not excellent either.
